BGS 2022 Intel talks about 13th generation for the year 2023

Intel was also present at the BGS 2022 and brought a complete stand with new products, gaming notebooks and much more. We had the opportunity to interview Carlos Buarque, the brand’s Marketing Director here in Brazil, who revealed some of the company’s interesting plans in the country.

Intel on BGS 2022

In its official booth, Intel brought different notebooks, desktops and mini desktops with 12th generation processors with latest generation games for the public to experience high performance games. Among those available, it is possible to play titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, MultiVersus, Phobia – St. Dinfna Hotel, Formula 1 2022 and the newly released Overwatch 2 .

It was also possible to see Intel’s first dedicated graphics card, the ARC A380 , an entry-level card with average performance to run the most diverse games. The ARC A380 is now available in Brazil by the manufacturer ASRock; Carlos Buarque believes that within a month we will have more options from other manufacturers in retail, but there is still no set price.

CS:GO fans will also be able to head to the Intel booth to meet and see up close Kami , The Darkness and Cherrygumms , who will be present in the Meet and Greet area on fair days.

Unfortunately, the 13th generation of processors is not available at the fair, but we can confirm that Intel plans to launch the K series later this year! The launch will take place first with individual processors for enthusiasts, and in 2023 with computers and notebooks for gamers, casual and the corporate market.

Interestingly, Intel’s 13th generation processors are the second iteration of processors with the hybrid architecture, which comes with several gaming-specific performance cores and efficiency cores that help you get the most out of other tasks on your computer. computer.

Project “Recycle PC” BGS 2022

A highlight is on top of the new project “Recicla PC”, created here in Brazil in 2021 by Intel with the aim of reducing electronic waste and providing discounts for those looking to change computers. Intel’s marketing director in Brazil, Carlos Buarque, had the following to say about this project with immense potential:

The idea is based on what already exists in the cell phone market, where the person hands over the old cell phone to get a discount on the purchase of a new one, while the old cell phone is disposed of correctly. The idea was to do this for computers in a way that partners could join this initiative (…)

The person who has a computer stopped at his house can give this computer, which will have a correct destination, either in the reuse or in the correct recycling, and he earns a credit depending on the configuration of the old computer.

An interesting point of the “Recicla PC” project is that there is no exclusivity on the processor brand on the machine that is delivered for recycling! That is, even a computer with an AMD processor is suitable for the program, giving more freedom for anyone to get discounts.

What to expect from Intel in 2023?

In addition to the launch of 13th generation processors and dedicated graphics cards like the ARC A380 , ARC A580 and ARC A780 , Intel is already planning to launch the different processor SKUs for the year 2023.

SKUs are basically variants of processors, where each one meets the use and need of each different niche. The brand plans to launch more than 70 different SKUs, which include processors for thin and light notebooks, desktops and gaming notebooks as well.

With the 13th generation, Intel also plans to launch a new notebook brand with the Evo seal, which basically indicates which computers are thin, light, portable and good performing. Intel believes Evo branded computers will meet the needs of people who are always on the go and need portability no matter where they are.
