Deceit 2 Creators Drop Trailer for Free Steam Launch 2024

The online horror game Deceit 2 has transitioned to a Free-to-Play (F2P) format today, and to mark the occasion, the studio World Makers has released a new trailer. Previously priced at $32.99, the game is now available for free to all players.

Deceit 2 is a “social deduction” game in the style of Among Us. In the storyline, nine strangers must escape from a psychiatric hospital, but two possessed individuals are hidden among them. One side tries to find a way out, while the other attempts to kill everyone involved.

The Steam rating currently stands at 59% approval as of the time of writing this news. Many complain that the game has nearly zero online presence, but developers hope that transitioning to a free format will attract a new audience.

Players who have already purchased Deceit 2 will receive The Werewolf expansion pack, in-game currency, and other bonuses for free.

On April 3rd, the horror game will also be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
