iPhone 14 in Brazil: Apple reveals prices and release date

Almost a month after the announcement of the new smartphones, the apple company finally revealed the prices of the iPhone 14 line in Brazil . The models will be sold from R$ 7,499 and, at least for now, the “Plus” model will only arrive in Tupiniquin lands at a second yet to be defined moment.

The delay in the arrival of the iPhone 14 Plus

With an official sales price in Brazil starting at R$ 8,599 , Apple announced that the “third brother” of the iPhone 14 family arrives in Brazil only “soon”, but it is now possible to order in the online store. It won’t ship on October 14th like the other variants, but as soon as it’s available, the company will announce the arrival date.

And this delay has an explanation: according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo , specialist in Apple products , the company has been facing problems in pre-sales abroad. He also mentioned on his blog that the variant is more expensive to produce compared to the other members of the iPhone 14 line and still loses in cost-effectiveness for the 2022 and 2021 models.

The iPhone 14 Plus is a replacement for the iPhone 13 mini. However, pre-sales results for this new product were significantly lower than expected.

The company preferred to put other models, which are more successful, on sale in foreign countries so that orders are smaller and it is possible to save at the time of production.
